PR Card Photo Resubmission 2022 Timeline

No email or anything. But when I logged in today, the status changed to application/profile updated. When you click into that it says the application has been approved and the PR card has been mailed - a long with showing your PR card number. When you sign in again, the current status officially changes to approved.

I just logged in and saw a ghost update.

The photo was resubmitted on the 2nd of November, 2022.

Did you receive a notification that the application was approved and mailed, in your secure account?

This is really fast . So they have started November ?

Based on what I have seen on these forums, photo resubmissions are opened and processed in batches by different people, not necessarily following a super strict day by day order. More so in like a general range of +\- a few weeks. There are people whose photos were delivered October 11th that had been approved 10 days ago and people whose photos were received in mid/late September that were approved just now.

On the online account, the application status changed from submitted to application/profile updated, then back to submitted.
Apparently this called a ghost update , it means some one opened or checked your application.

Photo resubmission date: October 14th, 2022

PR Card approved and mailed: Feb1st, 2023 (Today)

Photos Delivered: October 13th 2022
Ghost Update: January 27th 2023
Application Approved (Card mailed status update): 1st February 2023.

Landed Aug18. Photo resubmitted Oct25,2022. Called ircc today to ask status of my PR card, they said its already in production as of January 31. And will take 42 days from that date as the standard process.

I’ve sent a web form couple of days ago, they just emailed me saying(We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your card has been approved and sent for production)

Ghost update: January 23rd, 2023 - I am assuming this is when the envelope was opened.

PR Card approved and mailed: January 31st, 2023 (Today)

Waiting to receive card in mail.
