I was checking the portal daily for my application and I didn't notice any ghost updates. My guess is the Calgary VO started to work on the mid-Dec portal request recently. Therefore, avg. waiting time is somewhere between 40-50 days maybe? It could be even shorter for Jan applicants since Dec is the holiday session.
