Does anybody has idea why immigration request for bio metrics? What happen next once we submit bio metrics and how long does it take to get invitation for citizenship test

Called IRCC today and spoke to them about the issue of me having sent the documents via email reply and the tracker still shows they are waiting on documents from me (for past two months).

Person informed me that the online tracker has bugs and to completely ignore what is being shown on the tracker. He went through my file and informed me that the documents have been received in my file which were sent via email reply. He said nothing is expected further from you and it is being processed.

In summary, any email from IRCC requesting additional documents/information, can be provided as a direct reply to that email as well as through the web form. Both ways the documents/information are added to the file. Also that the tracker has bugs.

I have the same issue, both me and my husband submitted letter of explanation regarding passport gap. Both submitted same day, when I am tracking my husband's app it shows they received the information. But mine still showing they are still waiting for mine. Weird! What number did you call maybe I can also get an update.
