I just think about the larger picture. We all have differing elements to our applications. Some outside of Canada, some are inland. The differing streams from provincial nomination, spousal and express entry etc on the permanent side of things... but then there are refugees, temporary visitor and work visas and even sub categories with open work visas etc.I just do not understand how it works.
All of this is super interesting, my friend (we have almost everything same, event he lawyer) got his email December 23rd - replied the same day, got the email with password January 5th, got his ecopr January 10th and today he got his physical card.
And I am here, waiting since December 2st for ecopr.
And yes, it is frustrating. Our lives are on hold.
All that said there are hundreds of thousands of submissions which they deal with every year. We are the lucky ones who haven't been denied... and in all likely hood are well ahead of the predicted timeframe the website says we should expect.
So I'm just grateful I'm 9 months ahead of the expected timeframe from the website ... and it'll happen when it happens (and it wont be in 9 months). I joined this forum to get a better gauge on when that might happen. Hopefully being positive, helping others with pressing and appropriate questions (rather than just blindly asking without reading the previous posts) and also cheering each other on will deliver some better news and karma... a sight better than complaining about it all.
