Yes, I saw a similar email this morning. Didn't click on any of the links since I already created a tracker account on Jan 14. I logged in to the tracker expecting to see some kind of update but nothing had changed.

https://cst-ssc.apps.cic.gc.ca/ is the old link which no longer works. As you already have an account on the new tracker continue using that. Looks like IRCC forgot to update there email template with the new URL.
Thanks @toughchick and @forw.jane . Sounds like just need to overlook that email.

Processing times currently are still at 24 months? IS that accurate? Is it taking 2 full years to process citizenship applications?
2 years is the average time from IRCC.

Based on applicants from last year (January 22) I can say that usually people get citizenship within 11 months - a year. In addition, IRCC hired additional staff this year (2023).

Based on the data of 10 sources for March 2022, i.e. people who submitted 10 months 22 days ago - almost waiting for the ceremony.

On average, their time from AOR to the end of Background Check - 180 days, to the citizenship test - 191 days (around 6 month).

Next, we go to the July topic and make sure that the waiting time for the main process is still +- 6 months, here is an example:

See:

July 6th 2022 AOR
BG Complete: Dec 5th 2022

AOR to BC: 152 days.

When they ask you to do it? Did you have to provide a police certificate from Canada?

P.S In my city, the police make this certificate in 1-2 months.. May I should think about doing it in advance?
No I was asked to upload US police certificate.

I submitted my application on 31 Dec 2022.
On Jan 17, I received an email which had a PDF attached which mentioned
" This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for Canadian Citizenship. We will review your
application and supporting documents and will contact you if additional information is required."

So is this the AOR or something else. I am bit confused as I see the status as below in the portal from where I submitted my application.
Status of your application: Submitted for our review

It is AOR. You need to create account in https://tracker-suivi.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login to see the details of your application status

Within 3 months (90 to 100 Days) is the current rate at which BGC is getting cleared. It looks like Jan cases should start getting update about Background Check clearance from April 1st or 2nd Week.

I have seen similar cases - but as practice shows that they are very rare, look like 1 : 20. The normal time for this BGC (presented on the forum canadavisa) is around 180 days.

P.S Anyway, whose BGC are abnormally fast will still have to wait a long time for an invitation to the citizenship test. If you wait for a BGC for 6 months, then an invitation to the citizenship test comes in about a week. If you pass the BGC in 3 months, then you will have to wait another 3 months for the test. This is what I saw on the forum.

Strange issue right? Did you find a solution to this?
Is there any work around to track the application online now?
@ukp90 - were you able to resolve your issue?
Has anyone faced this issue - not receiving verification code in their email when trying to create a tracker account?
Have raised a webform but haven't received any response yet.
