Guys question -

My friend applied for PNP offline application in 2021 along with me, that time she had valid status.
She is out of status now but is currently in Canada as in-land applicant and has applied for TRP. Question is when she gets PPR request for PNP PR application, does she has to have valid status like EE programs in Canada?
In order for your friend to be eligible for PNP PR application, she must have valid status at the time of the PPR request. This is the same requirement for most other immigration programs in Canada, including the Express Entry program. If your friend's status has expired, she will need to renew it or obtain a temporary resident permit (TRP) before she can submit her PPR request. It is important to note that if your friend is in Canada as an in-land applicant and has applied for a TRP, she will be subject to the regulations of the immigration program and the TRP. If she doesn't have valid status at the time of PPR request, her PNP PR application might get rejected.

So I had a ghost update yesterday and usually after a GU there is a message in the account next morning, but I don't see anything. I think from what I've noticed, people get GUs several days before they get their portal 1 email? Is that right? There's also the chance that they transferred the file to another VO (due to capacity or to process the portal??).

that means either approval or office transfer. I didn't get any message after the ghost update either and it was an approval. Just call and ask.

Can someone please advise what would be next?. I submitted my PR application Non-EE (OINP) on Sep9th 2022 and still didn't get AOR. I called IRCC and spoke to an agent. She gave an APplication number starts with EP; however, she mentioned that the file has not been reviewed completely by the officer. She said It is kind of prospective stage and once completely reviewed I will be getting AOR email. I have been told that the Application number given will not work if I try to link, until they complete the review and AOR initiated.

Does this mean my file has not yet started reviewed OR is it in the process of review?. Any thoughts?.

Hi everyone, I have a question. Everyone here who shares the timelines mentions about medical and biometrics?

I have my biometrics valid till 8-10yrs (did it when I got my student visa)

And for medical, the office IRCC website says
We don't need medical if we have done medical after 6 October 2017

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/medical-exams/requirements-permanent-residents.html

Can anyone please confirm?
(Fyi I am going to apply through OINP Master's PNP)
