PLACES YOU HAVE LIVED?

Hi guys,
I read somewhere when we get ITA, and when you apply they ask for places you have lived in last 3 years or something like that?
As an international student, I have lived at so many places but in papers I've only shown one address (I mean like in my bank account, SIN card, the address on my pay stubs, address at my transcripts) but on my driver's license, its different.
So do you think it'll be okay if I only show my primary address, that I've been living there for past 3 years. According to my knowledge, we don't attach the driver's license as any proof for anything so I don't think they would know that.
Any kind of info on this would be appreciated.

What if we put wrong dates by mistake or something?
How vital is this from a VO's point of view?
How likely is this section to make any kind of affect on our application?

Just fill it out to your best knowledge, I have yet to seen someone get rejected for making a mistake in that section.

i think you answered your own question since your not using your driver's license copy in the supporting documents for your PR application you don't have to point that out .just use your primary mailing address that you have on your bank statements ,transcripts , work/job documents etc . and that would be just fine .

I can feel your pain! Luckily there is a "Letter of Explanation" (LOE) part where you are able to explain yourself. I have many "grey areas" when it comes to residence that I feel the need to explain. The most important thing is honesty!

A question I have relating to this:
Cic's instruction: Provide all of the addresses where you lived in the past ten years OR since your 18th birthday, whichever is most recent. Do not leave any gaps.

Being 30 years old, the most recent 10 years is from December 2006 until today, right?
So I submit this, and am provided with this error message:
Error Description: Address history:
You must provide at least 10 continuous years of history from the date of client's 18th birthday.

Wait, what?? From my 18th birthday is not the most recent, or am I getting this wrong?

No, that would not be OK, that would be misrepresentation. As pointed out above, every address you have lived at for the past 10 years. That does not include sleeping on a friend's sofa for a week, but if you received mail there, if you ever had any official document at an address, you should include it. It would be a mistake to think that IRCC would not be able to discover that in your background/criminal/security checks; if they did, they would want a really good explanation for withholding this information.

None of this is easy for anyone. I had to recover more than 30 addresses over a much longer period of time. Three years should be easy.

No, business visit trips do not make up your residential address. You will have to list such biz trips in your travel history section
If you are confused about what to put as your residential address, just think of the addresses where your bank sends your statemnents to.

I was advised to, yes. They are not asking what your official residence was, but where you lived, even if temporary. Anything more than a couple of weeks' visit, you should list (to the best of your ability).

I had that happened to me, you must have done it backwards, it asks to start with the most recent address.

For your studies, if you have stayed for a couple of years in some other state than your hometown, should we include that as well?
