People have appeard for the test and there tracker is not yet updated to complete. I thought we can start a new thread so that people can share there experience
Delay in updating Test status to complete

I have given the test on Nov 4 and till now my status on tracker still shows "inprogress" . my test center was SCR (Scarbrough)
I got a ghost update yesterday Dec 13
For me, test completed on Oct31, test marked as completed Nov3. Now, it's updated back to In progress on Dec 13.
For my spouse, test completed on Nov6 but wasn't marked as completed. Last updated date is now Dec 13 as well and no change. Everything except BG is still shown as in progress.

I also got a ghost update yesterday 13 Dec but not real updates. It looks like mostly delays in updating test to complete with SCR office

a couple of weeks ago I called IRCC as I’m in a similar situation (test took on Nov 5th but never marked as completed).
The agent I talked to indicated that they need to verify that everything is “correct” before marking the test as completed.
The answer was very vague, but made me think a few things:
- something has changed in their process
- some applications need more attention (long/complex travel history)
- some applications get randomly selected for an extra review of the test session
I’m obviously just speculating but it feels odd to me might take from days to weeks for a test to be marked as completed.

You'll think that IRCC would be trying to mark the tests complete asap so they don't receive a large number of calls. They should make it possible to see a test taken update as well as a provisional score before they mark it complete if there are too many applications to go through.
Not sure whats happening behind the scene's but one thing which frustrate's me is that test is just simple either your passed or failed - just mark it. I believe they have any automated systems which marks the test automatic but if it goes for manual review then it takes time . If you see most of people will see there test updates quickly in 3-4 days .
I hope every gets his/her update quickly . I have been waiting for it now more than 45 days
I called IRCC yesterday and agent said you need to contact your local IRCC office from where you receive the test invite. After sending an email to SCR IRCC office i did received a response after few hours but they said this email inbox does'nt have access to test results and it will be update once the authentication is done. You are encouraged to check the status online .

I am not in the same boat but curios so commenting -
@coolromeo were you asked to submit ID and/or photo after your test? Sometimes the photos we take are blurry and need our attention which they ask through email.

There was no request for ID or photo , just silence … not sure what's happening in the background
Same here, test done Nov 4 and until the update on Dec 13 it was showing not started. As of Dec 13 it shows In progress.
I keep trying to call, but no luck getting through to an agent yet. Will keep you posted if I get an answer.
