Yes. I am still waiting for ecopr and ppr , after medical result no update yet. Almost 2 and Half month passed Still waiting. No response

every time check the status tracker showing update. But when open the profile nothing changed in it. Even they still not started background check and eligibility

Hello All,
We are in the process for inland family sponsorship. I am sponsoring my husband who is American and here on work visa.
We have ONLY applied for my husband and not my stepson since his mom is not willing to give permission for him. On Friday we received medical examination forms for both my husband and my stepson! Is that normal? We haven’t included him in the application so I don’t know if that was a flook in the system or he also needs medical?!
Has anyone else experienced this before?

Yes, they require medical examination of non-accompanying dependents - which will, in theory, give your husband ability to sponsor in future (before age 22).

If the ex-spouse will not give permission to examine, then it gets quite a bit more complicated.

Really best if can conviince the spouse to let child have medical exam - may be useful in future.

Hey Everyone a quick question sorry if this is not the place but seeing that many ppl on this thread got already have their applications, do you guys know if something new happened in the previous months I was checking at the processing time on CIC and it says 22 months before used to be like 12 months, we haven't applied yet but I don't know why 22 months looks such a long time.

I just received a message on my GC key for invitation of Pre arrival services but on my status tracker Eligibility is still not started and was last updated on Oct 6 so I guess my Eligibility is complete they have just not updated that yet.

The processing time has been updated last year to 22 month due to all the backlog during covid. But i see most application getting processed quickly even less than 12 months. Again this all dependents on the application, agent and visa office the file is being processed. The additional heads that government added to expediate the process is paying off. So keep looking things on positive side and you might have your application processed in less than 12 months.

Not sure of everycase , speaking of our case we had Pre arrival email prior to portal showing the background and eligibility completion, 2day after. So i would saying nothing to worry .

Got my PR approved this morning and COPR email, but the tracker and GC key have not been updated to show this progress.

The passport has been dispatched should be arriving tomorrow. GCkey shows applications has been approved with counterfoil generated. Will update full time line once we get the passport tomorrow

I got PPR as I was about to Call IRCC and it's for both me and my dependent. Question is they say on the letter that they would want me to confirm that we'll be able to travel to Canada before 09/15/2023 before they can issue the visas which I will, but they don't say where I should confirm/email to confirm. Does anyone know where to send confirmation that you travel to Canada before the stated date?
