can anyone confirm if we are suppose to get any confirmation email ( something like auto reply) when we send requested documents via email. i sent docs via email but didn't receive any confirmation ?

I don’t think we get any confirmation because I submitted my parents documents via email and didn’t get any confirmation

Dear friends, I have good news to share. My mother in law got her PR application approved. eCOPR issued. Please see the time line below. Luckily for us, it has been a smooth process. There was one applicant with no dependents. She was in Canada on Supervisa. Virtual landing process was very quick and troublefree

AOR: Never received

Sponsoship Approval letter: June 09, 2022
Medical Passed: June 08, 2022 Medical done for Supervisa in Dec 2021
Biometrics done as part of Supervisa in December 2021
PCC/Proof of relationship doc request; June 27, 2022
PCC and documents submitted: July 09, 2022
Application Approved letter: August 29, 2022
PR Portal requested as parent is in Canada on Supervisa: Aug 29, 2022
Letter from IRCC regarding creation of PR portal account: August 31, 2022
PR Portal submission of residence/photo and undertaking of residing in Canada: September 1, 2022
PR confirmation and eCOPR: September 8, 2022
PR card : Awaited current processing time about 70 days or so

Congratulations..My parents are also coming on supervisa tomorrow when you say PR portal requested what do you mean(don’t we already have pr portal created)? And did you update their address via webform when they arrived here? Please reply thnx

2.My father’s Passport is expiring in Nov 2023..should we wait until November to apply for new passport(it says in their email apply for passport if its expiring within 12 months)?

apply for a new passport as soon as the authority allows him to renew, usually within a year of expiry.

i am trying to book vfs appointment but it says to upload fist page of each applicant's passport submission letter.
should i use the same letter for both my father and mother, ?
the letter i received mentions only my father.
Please advise.

I provided Aadhaar cards, passport, all the marksheets I had and added the explanation letter explaining that we don't have voter id and providing other documents which can prove the relationships.

Mississauga seems to be working and processing applications fast. On the other hand, looks like Vancouver office still hasnt recovered from Covid days.. so frustrating.

There is no automated or manual confirmation that i received when submitted through email. But it was processed

I Submitted the same letter for mother and father today while booking appointment with VFS.
i dont think they send individual PPR's

Thanks for the response MuzefferQA. So PPR letter only includes primary applicant's detail and nothing on Dependent. But we can use same letter to submit both passports?

It’s normal hence you can proceed for both with the same letter.
