Hello everyone.. I got an email on 6th of September to appear for citizenship test again because first one was invalid, don’t know why and requested for passport pages so i sent pp and today on 16th sep i did citizenship test again through video conferencing and passed it. Then he asked to show pp so i did. Let see what will happen

No. Only kids age 14 and up need to be present and to take the oath.

Thanks. Yeah, they are both younger than 14 and they won't be taking the oath, but I was not clear if they need to be present, as I received an invite for each of them, as well as me.
Do I need to have the kids ID documents and their PR cards ? Also do I need to have any other documents, such as their COPR documents ?

I understand that they don't have to take the oath, but wanted to make sure they don't need to present with me in the zoom call, for the registration phase or anything else. The children are planned to be away on a trip during that time, so I wanted to make sure I don't need to change those plans and have them be with me during the oath ceremony.

They don't need to be present with you at all. However, you do need to have their PR cards with you to show during registration, so if they will be on a trip overseas, that could be a problem. Otherwise no problem.

Cool, that's also my understanding, although the invites have some ambiguous terms. Actually, they are abroad, but don't need to return to Canada soon, so they can wait for their Passport to be ready, or enter thru the land border with the citizenship certificates in case of emergency. Does that sound reasonable ?

That sounds reasonable. However, to be safe, you should reply to the oath email and confirm that all you need to do regarding your kids is to show their PR cards. I think I saw someone in this forum mention that you need to show 2 pieces of ID for each child even under age 14, but the instructions say only their PR cards are needed.

To my surprise, the Vancouver office replied my email about rescheduling my oath ceremony due to my imminent travel. They said they would place me in queue for oath ceremony after I came back to Canada.

I applied for citizenship in. July 2021 . My ircc office is Winnipeg. I received an update for oath ceremony which is schedule on sept 20,2022 today. But i haven’t received the iath invitation email. Can anybody tell me there contact email address. I need to email them. Thanks

Did you end up finding the right contact and getting oath instructions? If not, reply to your test invitation email.

Hey can you explain your situation please? Which email you replied to ? What was their reply?

I scheduled to take oath at the end of September, but need to travel back to visit my family in the first week of October. So I won't have enough time to get passports. I replied to the same email address that sends me the oath ceremony details. In that email, I explain my situation and include my fly tickets. I think each office have different email address. Their reply said that they noted my travel, they will put me in queue for the next oath date after November.

I replied on that email but recevied no response.only this update into my account ..
Any idea how long they r going to resend me?
