Hi guys my partner has option to apply for citizenship online alone vs paper based from BC. Which option is faster currently?

So frustrating with people suggesting online is better and faster than paper. I've been following the tracker of the past 6 months and almost all moving are paper. A lot of blood on people suggesting online to citizenship applicants.

if you apply on paper you wll add an extra cost of around 100$ for shipping + printing in color all your passport pages. ( if you have 2 that's even more) and print the rest of the documents.

Apparently that's the cost to get the expedited treatment that paper applications get. I made the mistake of applying online for the convenience.

May 2022 have already received their citizenship certificates. That's the complaint. They are processing paper 4 times faster than online
not all of them and not according to that tracker

honestly it's hilarious all the drama. applying and getting citizenship within a year whether online or paper is pretty fast. what is everyone complaining about really!

4 times faster than my 7 months so far means it got processed in two months. i checked the tracker, and took notice of paper vs online. there's no glaring difference. it's just everyone putting their blinders on. everyone's in the same boat. it hasn't been a year, start worrying then!

you looked at the tracker and you see January online apps just getting test invites just now and May paper apps receiving citizenship certificates and you can seriously say there's no difference? IRCC is completing some paper apps in 4 months, most online apps are seeing their first movement on file in about 8 months after application, you can claim anything but i'm basing my statement on what i am seeing and experiencing.

Most delusional take. People that applied on paper in May 2022 have had their oaths scheduled whereas those that applied online last September are still waiting for even Decision Made.

It's funny you talked about putting blinders on..
