which is this tracker? do we have to enter to get info about tracking citizenship timeline info

where can you see ECAS status ? I just got notification from Canada post that application received. but nothing after that..

Hi all, on your Ecas (for those who are able to login , and I’m not talking about tracker) what’s the mailing address being shown as? For some reason it’s not showing my Canada address as mailing but taking address from my country of Origin. Home address though is correct.

With the current trends, around 7 days after your application receipt, you get the AOR email. Within 12 to 48 hours from then, you can go to the online citizenship application tracker to create your account and start checking statuses. One account reach for each UCI.

You've given your details. One of the moderators will update the spreadsheet. Go to the first message of this group, it has the link for you to check

ECAS is same as online account on CIC website to check our status . right ?

No Ecas is different from tracker. Former has only main status of the application. Latter has more details and shows each step of the process which needs to be completed before citizenship is granted.

For me Ecas shows application received but tracker shows in process.

You're absolutely right. I'm seeing my home address back in my country of origin as well. Its just the way the applications have been loaded into the portal i guess. Pretty sure I entered the correct address when i filled in my form. I probably think its the last address IRCC has on our files from the PR application.

You are right. I also suspect this Ecas pulls data based on what was our last address when we received our PPR. Given that CIC suggests that we use tracker for our citizenship app, I’m not even bothering to change address on Ecas even if it allows. Don’t want to disturb the flow of things and get into a rabbit hole lol.

Exactly.. dont want to fix something thats not broken and delay the applications.
