hello Guys I need help!!!!
I just opened my Gckey, and under "view submitted documents or Upload documents". I have a request for documents under optional documents, which say "document name: Client information" and required by "October 3rd".

however I did not receive a message on my Gckey account, or any email from the IRCC explaining which type of document they require??
can anyone help me with this??? what do I have to submit ??

:(

Hey guys, I don't know if this is the correct forum for this, but I was wondering if anyone applied for an extension to their PGWP while waiting for a decision on their to TR to PR decision.

A quick rundown of my situation:
Applied to French Speaking Int'l graduates stream in September 2021 and I received my AOR in February 2022. Haven't heard anything since.
My PGWP expires on February 2023, so last week I applied for an OWP extension for TR to PR applicants. When accepted this should extend my OWP until December 2024.
Today I received a letter from IRCC titled "WP-EXT only except PGWP". The letter states that my OWP extension application was received, and that I am authorized to continue working under the same conditions until January 2023 (120 days after the application was made) or until a decision is made for my OWP extension, whichever comes earlier.

I got quite a few questions, so I'd really appreciate your input
- The title of the letter has me a little confused. Does "Except PGWP" mean this email does not apply to me? Or did I screw up somewhere along the application?
- The grace period provided in the letter is earlier than when my actual work permit expires (from Feb to Jan). Did I cut my time short, or do I still go by the date on my PGWP?
- Do I have to leave the country come February 2023 if nothing changes? Processing times say that I should be able to get my OWP in time, but I know how unreliable they are.
- Finally, the following excerpt from the letter has me concerned "This extended period of work is authorized as per subsection 186(u) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. If you leave Canada before a decision is made on your application, you will no longer be authorized to continue working." I was assuming since I have my valid PGWP that this would not be not applicable to me, does anyone know?

Thanks in advance!
Don’t worry, U can continue working on implied status. It’s OWP n not pgwp so that terminology

Check about your situation if there was any visa refusal or reference letter or any required doc or short of addresses. Call IRCC n upload at earliest. Also submit a webform just in case

It must be an error if we are all seeing the same thing, and there isn’t any upload button, so since they had a maintenance issue this morning. I'm assuming this will soon go away as it's not a required document, just my assumption.

that makes sense as they don't provide any information of the required documents and the option to upload them.

Hi Everyone, Received my CBSA notes and under the Entry doc, it says "Error - Ruleset not Found!? Any idea what it means?
"Error - Ruleset not Found!" This is a technical error and I think has nothing to do with your application BUT instead it may be their internal issue. Probably the officer experienced a ruleset query error while working on your file and had to log it. Rulesets are just a set of rules defined to control SQL query access when retrieving data and evaluates to true of false. Basically it may be a problem to do with access to their DB. Am surprised they logged it but its good for transparency.
DISCLAIMER-- This is not a professional advice but my opinion  . Please consult IRCC for clarity to your CBSA notes.

You are on implied status. PGWP are normally not renewable but this process gave PGWP an exception which covers the WP extension. s. 186(u) of the IRPR, implied status allows foreign workers to work without a work permit as long as they
  • applied to renew their work permit under section R201 before the original work permit expired
  • have remained in Canada (meaning they have not physically left)
  • continue to comply with the conditions set out on the expired work permit, other than the expiry date
IF YOU PHYSICALLY LEAVE Canada between now and Jan 2023 then you would have SCREWED UP your implied status. DO NOT LEAVE before a decision is made. Basically you should get the decision with the 120 DAYS that's why.
