Who has more chances of getting approved?

My wife and I have been thinking about who is more eligible for getting the study permit approval:

Both are 35 years old, with high English levels and USA visas our entire lives.

1-I with a bachelor's degree and extensive work experience. Will study something related to my profile.
2-She with no previous studies and no previous work experience. Will study something from scratch. (She didn't study before because was concentrating on our children's)

We understand the advantages of her studying because I'll get an OWP and it will be easier to get a job, but we are a bit afraid about getting a rejection with her application because if then I want to apply it will not look good, so we deciding on our one and only shot.

Whoever applies, make sure your SOP explains clearly:

1. Why Canada? Why now? Why that particular education institution?

2. How the education program aligns with your background, previous studies / work experience or the lack of? How does the program aligns with your future goals and objectives? How the program will help you achieve your plans? Are there any gaps in study or work experience? Explain as clearly as possible all of these points.

3. Explain clearly all the ties you have to your home country (property, family, future plans, business, etc).

4. Submit as much evidence possible of all the arguments included in your SOP.
