Finally, Tracker got updated today: File Closed & Old e-cas: Changed from DM to complete.

Now waiting for the certificate.

On August 12 everything on my application changed to completed....
Do they schedule the citizenship ceremony right away? Thanks!

just curious.
My Mom’s Application was recieved on July 15 2021 on Ecas and on the tracker it says application filled August 29.
On Ecas it says application inprocess on july 15 and no more update.
On the tracker the only update is on June 9,2022 background check completed and language, physical and prohibition are in progress whereas ceremony and test are not started yet.
She is over 70 and some of these actually are not applicable.
Is this normal given that her residence is Edmonton? Shouldn’t it take less since she doesn’t have to do test ?

Hi, I have same questions as you have for my parents, at first I thought it would be faster and some of the requirements should be marked completed automatically since they do not apply to senior applicants, unfortunately not from what I have seen so far. It might actually take longer due to maybe priorities for younger applicant. (My observation only)

I had my oath ceremony yesterday, and today my status tracker says closed and my citizenship has been approved. Does this mean that my certificate has been shipped out?

Please clarify. For virtual oath does one have to send a singed confirmation or acceptance like one does for interview.

Not sure what they ask for interview. But for oath ...you need to send signed form after oath ceremony. No confirmation /acceptance prior to oath ceremony.

Not sure what they ask for interview. But for oath ...you need to send signed form after oath ceremony. No confirmation /acceptance prior to oath ceremony.

No. You can sign it before or after. Does not matter.

Hello, Those who have done oath, I did send the form right after oath but have not received any acknowledgement..do we receive an acknowledgement and if yes then what is the time after you sent the form that you received it..
