I am not sure I completely understand your question, but if it has to do with extending your ability to work past your current work permit expiry date, and your TR to PR application is still be processed, then:Hello Dear
As I submitted my application in tr to pr it will exoire next year 2023
i have question i will eligible to apply for wp? And if i will apply then how many years of work permit i will get.
- If your existing work permit will expire in 2023, you should apply for a new OWP under https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/tr-pr-pathway/open-work-permit.html Temporary public policies: Open work permits for applicants under the temporary resident to permanent resident pathway. If approved, it will be good to Dec 31, 2024, or earlier if your passport expires sooner. So update your passport before applying if needed. Also, IRCC requests that you apply only 4 months before the expiry of your current work permit.
- But, if you already have an OWP under the earlier policy with an expiry date of Dec 31, 2022, please review https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/tr-pr-pathway/open-work-permit/special-measure.html Special measure: Longer period of work for holders of open work permits under the temporary resident to permanent resident pathway. You might receive an automatic extension to December 31, 2024.
