Hi All,

I am starting a new thread for everyone that has applied for Super Visa but have not paid medical insurance for the full year. Or in other words if you have taken our monthly installment plan. 2 People have already received refusals as the policy came into effect on 4th July as per "https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/visitors/super-visa.html".

The issue now is even if you submit updated Medical Insurance for the whole year through webform but your application is processed before the VO looks at your webform you will automatically get refusal. This is not acceptable at all.

But I am starting this thread to see how many applicants purchased monthly instalments for Super Visa Medical insurance. Maybe we can all team up and write a letter or something so we all don't get refusals.

I'm not impacted by this right now but this is a terrible policy. I just bought visitors insurance for my parents and that costed me ~1.7K. If I had to buy insurance for super visa it would be a lot more expensive. Given the economic scenario buying it month on month would make a lot of sense for so many folks. This is a terrible policy and given inflation and in general everything being so expensive it would further make it difficult for people to bring family for longer duration.

I agree but the sad part if even if you paid for it in full somehow, there are chances the application might be rejected still.

Hey
For the updated medical insurance document which you submitted recently via webform, did you receive the confirmation of any sort?

Yes one email comes through that is Auto reply but not a proper confirmation. VACs usually take 30 days to upload the documents.

i called immigration call center they told me that best option is withdraw application and re apply same time . so many people are in same situation its means so many refusal .so we should raise voice by asking our local MPs.

Which number did you use? I have been trying to reach out to them non-stop and none of my calls get transferred

they take 28 days to update document sent by web form... but why they didnt ask for extra document need by IRCC PORTAL as they gave option that they can ask for extra document. its not big deal. i don know why they give refusal.
