No college study
Yes security and back ground also my wedding proofs ,photos, chats, receipts etc..
I know for easy security and background check, takes at least one month after your status shows: we are reviewing your documents! After completing security and background check, you will get portal 1 & 2 and then ecopr(at least one weak after completing security and background check)! So, this means that you may not get your PR before expiration date of work permit! You should apply for bridging work permit, at least one month before expiration date!

Hi all,

I submitted my application through online portal (prson-srpel) late July 2021.
Got an email late May 2022 to link the application with my CIC account.
Under CIC account the application shows Date Received of late July 2021.

I received a letter asking me for Payment of Biometric Fees in June 2022 and corresponding payment was made.

Any thoughts on when can I expect AOR? My open work permit expires early next year, will definitely need AOR for BOWP.
Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You supposed to receive it already in the first email asking you yo link your application.
Are you sure you are asking about AOR?

12-18 months on average. Sometimes 8-10 months if you're one of the lucky one's. They've really sped up processing so you should be OK.

Do you have a work permit support letter you can use to apply for a closed work permit just in case?

Thanks for your reply.
I have an email from Client-update-mise-a-jour@cic.gc.ca (see below) that I received along with the link application email, but there is no pdf attached nor is there anything under my cic website account.
Is this something I can use for BOWP
