Application for a Work visa from a third country

Hi,

I am an Argentinian, and I have an agreement with a Canadian employer for temporary employment for two years starting from March 2023. In the meantime, I have a Postgraduate education in China. Can I apply for a work permit to Canada from China, as an international student in China, where my status in China is a Student Visa status? Usually, visa officers refuse, but if anyone knows ways to prevent the refusals, please share your knowledge and experience. I couldn't find similar situations on the web.

So your employer has a LMIA or you just have a job offer? You can apply for a work permit from China. You show your experience in the NOC.
