Hey guys!

Love seeing so much positivity in this thread!

We're in a peculiar situation (somewhat similar to @blessedLives) wherein we're currently residing in the UK, but our VO is New Delhi.

We moved to the UK in Sept 2020 and received our PPR in Nov 2020, but were unable to transmit our passports owing to uncertainties introduced by COVID-19. Since then, we've been repeatedly requesting IRCC to change our VO to London, but we weren't successful.

At this point, we're considering transmitting our passports to New Delhi VO. From what I understand, expired PPR letters may still be honoured as per this tweet.

Should we proceed with transmitting our passports to India? Any guidance would be highly appreciated.

Hi, What is this "28 June: Ghost update - Adr in review". What changed in the application page?

Nothing changed.. it’s a ghost update means the updates are going inside of the application but no change on the account.

Congratulations! What was the trigger for them to expedite your case?
Our application was from HK as well and still pending to date the security check to start (last step). Did you submit webforms? Did you call a specific number with a specific message? We are really lost on what to do here. Do you think the GCMS expedited the processing of your case?

Nah, per 1st GCMS as of Feb 2022 neither eligibility nor security was in progress. I did not submit webforms or speak to an agent. I did submit 2nd GCMS request in May but that has yet to come back even after PPR. So I think all that worked was waiting.
