Hi Folks,

I submitted my application on 02/10/21
I got biometrics on 24 feb - its done
but no update since then
I am unable to log gckey
and status code is caseStatusId: 7 (what does 7 mean?)

7 means that the document completeness is bot changed. It should change to 10 first and then you will start getting medical request and next steps

My GCkey was updated with this thing for biometrics:

• We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details.

I believe before it used to say, we need your fingerprints. There is no new message or anything. We did the biometrics a month ago, even on the biometrics section on top right, i can see the biometrics number and date when it was done. Do we need to upload something for biometrics? I just assumed we dont have to do anything from our side. Can someone please guide me on this?

Hello everyone,

I recently received a communication from IRCC regarding the submission of Form IMM5768 but the action items required from me were unclear in the email or the pdf. As part of the online submission last year, the IMM5768 was already included, does that mean I don't have to submit anything else at this moment as a sponsor? Has anyone else received such communication from IRCC despite having submitted IMM5768 alongwith the original submission?

"Please note that the following documentation will be required for your sponsorship application to determine whether you meet the minimum necessary income requirements to sponsor a parent or grandparent. In order to minimize processing delays, if not already included in your application, please obtain and submit as soon as possible:"
A completed and signed authorization form – IMM 5768 - Financial Evaluation for Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship providing your Social Insurance Number.
o If you selected “Yes” to the Statement of Consent on this form and provided your Social Insurance Number, you authorize IRCC to request information from Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) in regards to your, or the cosigner’s (if applicable), income tax information for the three consecutive years immediately preceding the received date of your application."

For the benefit of others in the forum, my timelines are as follows
October 1st 2021 - Email received for "Interest to Sponsor Confirmation"
December 3rd 2021 - Submitted the application
June 23rd 2022 - The above email about IMM5768 was received
June 29th 2022 - Biometrics and Medical invitation for my parents

I received exact letter for my parents’ file on June 23. It is AOR letter. Nothing needs to be done if you submitted IMM5768 form with application.

I have not received medical or biometric yet though. Application submission date is Oct 14, 2021.

I filed mine October 13 and nothing so far. I am only thinking maybe our documents are all good, Maybe that's why we didn't hear anything from them

Can someone please clarifies when to get PCC done? Do we require separate letter for PCC same as Medical and Biometrics req letter?

My dad and mom got medical and my dad passed the medical. However my mom getting more investigation done. Is it possible that my dad get passport request while my mom is getting pending test done as he is principal applicant?

did you get PCC request separately? I received SA email that mention PCC as required document but I haven't received PCC request separate letter.
