Hi Guys, I have a question. I'm not sure what's going on om my tracker page. First of last week my husband received an email that my application has been sent to Accra office and since then, then week I have logged into my tracker and seen that an update has been done twice, but I can't see what the actual update is. All I see is Application Received. Has anyone experienced or seen this before?

Which tracker? Is it the Client Application Status? When I got my eligibility letter on May 10,2022, it included that my husband’s file has been transferred to Accra. I haven’t heard anything else and my husband hasn’t either.
Yes the CAS I received a pdf to link my account, cos now I’m confused cos my husband did an online submission
I don’t think it matters. They have accepted you as part of his application but your own application is being treated differently. You can go ahead and link your account if you can. I haven’t been able to link mine but I am at the tail end of the process now. My husband also told me that his CAS is now showing “application received”. It used to show “in process”

Has your husband got his PR yet. I am sure the eCAS would change to in process once he becomes a Permanent Resident of Canada.
My husband is my sponsor. From his end he has been approved as a sponsor, just waiting for mine to be processed by Accra office.
The process of approving my husband’s application took 2 weeks by the Sydney office. So I’m not sure how long mine would take in the Accra office.
Also my CAS is not working. I have been unable to track my application using the CAS tool and I’m not sure why
Okay. You just have to exercise patience. The processing would soon start. eCAS could be undergoing some maintenance if you’re unable to use it. You can try again later.
What's your timeline? Yes the PR tracker always have those updates with no corresponding notification on what the updates are about. But it's generally a good sign. We applied in December, and we just completed medicals two weeks ago. We waited about a month and two weeks for the medical request. Before then, there were multiple updates on the tracker. Since the medical, we've only had one update.
Oh maybe that’s the reason… that’s ok then cos I am able to view the progress in the new pr tracker. Thank you for letting me know
We applied in February, got spousal approval in May along with the information that my application being moved to Accra. Now I don’t know what the next step is. My biometrics shows complete. Now waiting.

Thanks! The next step should be a Medical request for the PA in your case. Usually, if additional supporting documents are not requested, a Pre-arrival Letter follows after the medical and then the PPR/Decision Made.
I applied for PR from within Canada in April 2021 but my spouse is outside Canada. As my application nears completion, they transferred his file to Accra visa office for continuation of his processing. My medical is done and I’m awaiting next steps to finalize the process. I am here in order to get the ideas on how to follow up my spouse’s application.
