I came to Canada as a student, applied for PGWP and my husband applied for a work permit, unfortunately we didn't declare his US refusal and he got a 5 year ban. My PGWP is expiring, my lawyer adviced to try H&C, that I have a high chance of getting through since our child is Canadian and I'm an RN, this is my story

My mother got her AIP in April 2022 under H&C. Now in 2nd stage. Can you travel to home country for a surgery? She is not here as a refugee. Will it impact her processing? If no then can she use OHIP here. Will using OHIP here impact her PR processing? She has 3rd party medical insurance too.
