Hi all,

My Work permit with LMIA was applied on 8th October 2021 from India.

Biometrics : 24th November 2021

Medical : 2nd December 2021

Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Since almost 2 months no changes.
When can I expect my PPR? I’m desperate now. Can someone help me with answers??

Processing averages 41 weeks so if you haven’t received an update by end of July raise a webform.

Thanks for the response

This may sound stupid but are there any chances an application gets completely missed out by an immigration officer by any chance?
A friend of mine who applied for a SOWP during the same time as mine got his PPR a month ago. Is there any difference in the timeline of SOWP and LMIA work permit?

Timelines are averages. SOWPS and LMIAS are very different. your permit is closed and requires more scrutiny to make sure your experience matches the LMIA versus an open work permit. With SOWP, spouse already has a work or study permit.

Thanks a lot for your response
So in my case the review already started a month or more ago. So do you think I can expect my PPR soon?
