Proof of Funds Query

With 1 year tution fee paid and GIC certificate, do I need to show anyting more as proof of funds for SDS category?

Theoretically you do not need provide other funds.
Many people submit additional financial proof for sds to improve their chances, which I think makes sds more competitive.
Some of my friends didn't submit anything not required and got their study permit. So it really depends on how you look at it.

So, if I don't attach too much proof of funds and just attach 1 year fee receipt, GIC certificate and some bank statements, is it good to go?

For sds, just first-year payment receipt and GIC certificate is okay. But If you have solid bank statements or other proof, you can always provide them to enhance your chance.
