Supervisa - PPR Received for Mother Only. Father's Application still in process. Anyone else has similar situation?

Hey everyone,

I tried asking this in few different groups with no luck so far. So opening a thread to see if anyone else has similar situation. Below is our timeline:

Upfront Medicals and Valid Biometrics from previous visitor visa application which was pending since August 2021 on gckey portal.

March 20th: Super Visa Application submitted for both parents. Group applications (new ircc portal)
March 29th: Medicals Passed for Mother
March 30th: BVL for mother
April; 19th: PPR Received for mother
April 23th: Passport sent for stamping
April 26th Passport sent to VAC from IRCC after stamping. Hopefully it will be delivered by tomorrow through bluedart
April 26th: Status on ircc portal changed to Decision Made (Approved)

Father's application still shows:

We are reviewing the results of your medical exam
We are processing your background check

I believed both applications usually receive the PPR together. Is there anyone else who faced or facing similar situation where 1 applicant got ppr not the other?

Yes I applied as a group from the same IRCC account. Added my father as the primary applicant.

Yes it will take 25-30 days to reply them but that is also not much of use as they copy paste standard reply

Ah! Not sure why they missed it. I saw few applicants with this scenario but no one is replying back whether the second parent got the visa or not. So thought of opening a thread to get them on board.

I’m also in similar situation, got PPR for my mom and medical under review for my dad. So weird, I should have applied separately I guess. Ugh

So far no updates yet. I have submitted 2 webforms, all they say is the application is in process. This is so strange. Usually if the application is filed together, both primary application and secondary applicant receive PPR at the same time or in a weeks time maximum. Not sure what is going. But I have heard now about 4-5 cases lately. Lets see how long they will take. Mother's passport is stamped and they will pick up tomorrow. Still no movement on dad's application.

Yeah so weird man, my dad was the primary applicant but he hasn’t got the PPR. And my mom’s application was bit complex with too many affidavits.

Same here. Dad is the primary applicant. No idea whats going. Will wait for some time and will submit another webform. I am trying to get hold of the call center agents to get some update but so far no luck going through to reach someone.

I have ordered GCMS notes to review his file. Hopefully I’ll have access to notes in few days. Will keep you posted

Good idea. I will apply for GCMS notes as well and see where exactly the file is stuck at. Thanks! I will surely update as soon as there is any movement.

Hi guys, I had the same problem with one of my parent. I requested through MP and found out that one document was missing on my mom’s file. The MP office sent that document to IRCC and I got ppr same day.
