That sucks, our consultant believes from her understanding that my sister in law won't be approved for her work permit because she applied after the 22ed even tho the lmia is in her name and was approved before that date. She's been trying to contact ircc but no answer. it sucks for the employeer and employee. Sucks that my sister in law went through all the annoyance of getting the lmia only not to be able to apply for her work permit. and sucks for the employer who paid an agency that found my sister in law and also paid the lmia fees that can't be used .
