Hi guys,

Just FYI today I saw a big update in PNP processing times: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-processing-times.html

27 months is now the standard processing time for paper-based PNP applications.

Previously it was:
  • 15-19 months for those who haven't applied
  • 25 months for those who already applied
It appears Express Entry PNP processing times have blown out to 22 months as well.

If you're waiting over 2 years, you're not alone, but definitely very heartening to see stories here with less, hopefully, they speed it up.

Guys, I'm here to share my situation.
1. When did you receive an email asking for information? March 7
2. When did you receive your login details for the portal? March 7
3. When did you declare your presence in Canada, updated the address, and uploaded a picture on the portal? March 7
4. When did you receive ECOPR? Not yet
5. What is the VO? Calgary (based on the portal email)
6. When did you receive your PR card in the mail? Not yet

But my situation is more frustrating, my driver's license gonna be expired this April 7th and without Ecopr the registration won't issue me a new one, which means I may lose my ability to go to the worksite.

Tried to contact CIC with phones and emails, seems none of them are working.

Hi guys! My situation is a bit different.
my AOR is June 2020 FSWO and recently passed remedical and have been asked to get Canadian criminal record check to be submitted til 8th May. (moved to Canada on WP last year). I have a ticket to fly to India on 19th May. I was wondering if I get my portal email while I am in Canada between 8th-19th May right before my flight could I still travel and fill the portal once I am back after 10 days?
notbeen able to go home in 4 years. Pls help with any advice you have. The tickets are also non refundable so a major loss that way too.
