PCC and ArriveCAN help needed!

Hi all, I have two questions.

Me and my wife currently live in the US and plan to move to Canada soon.

1. I have a PR and my wife has visitor's visa and we are both planning to enter Canada together:

• Do we fill ArriveCAN together or on separate phones? I see that all applicants applying together need the same reason.
• Should my wife give the reason as Family re-unification or visitor? I'm assuming that we will get separated as PRs have a separate line?

2. I'm also planning to sponsor her inland PR application next month. We currently live in the US and applied for Indian PCC from a consulate here.

• Is this PCC (issued by consulate in US) valid for inland sponsorship considering the fact that my spouse never left the US in the past year and will be moving to Canada directly?

Or

• Do I need to get her PCC from Indian consulate while in Canada?

You can use ArriveCAN together since you're married, but it doesn't hurt to do it separately either. Up to you.

Either one works. Yes, she will be subject to an interview with CBSA, while you are free to scan your PR card at the automated kiosk.

This current Indian PCC is fine. She will also need a US PCC as well if she was in the US for more than 6 months consecutively.

Thank you! As a PR, do I have to interact with CBSA as I'm returning after almost 3 years (still have 2Years 2Months to maintain my PR) or is it just through a kiosk? And yes we already got PCC from the FBI.

Not sure what happens in this case (maybe someone who's been in a similar situation can confirm). But as a PR, you can start with the kiosk and it will let you know if you need to see an officer.
