You should definitely not renew your passport with an ongoing refugee application.
then how can I get PCC with expired certified copy of my passport ? or is there any other way . please advise
no it's for my spouse , ircc need my PCC and all documents too including application fee , biometric etc . how can I get that ?
Sorry - I don't understand. Has your refugee claim been accepted and you are applying for PR and including your spouse in the PR application?

no it's not accepted yet , I got married to Student girl and now she has applied for her PR . As I am her spouse , so ircc needs my documents too now to process my file with her.
There is no way to get your passport back before you get your pr, you have to withdraw your refugee application or send them a webform and explain you can't get PCC cause your passport is ceased by ircc.
What do you think that web form explaining my situation is gonna work ? success rate according to your point of view please
One of my friends tried to get the passport back when he was waiting for his hearing but ircc replied you have to withdraw your application on irb to get your passport back, thats what happend, so if you can get your passport back why is it ceased by ircc when you claim for refugee?
This is incorrect again, provided you signed Notice of Seizure and you are active claimant, you cant retrieve your passport. You can, once you withdraw, or with Positive decision, or become a PR /Citizen....
