There's nothing you can do to speed up process. The posted processing time is an estimate only and not a guarantee. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do but wait.

Thanks for the reply.

I was hoping there was something I could do on my end. Not knowing when or how to arrange my affairs is killing me...

A friend recommended that I order something called "GCMS notes" in your opinion, would that make a difference?

That will be a waste of time.

GCMS notes won't speed up the process in any way. All they will do is potentially give you more details on the processing of your application.

Plus, GCMS notes are backlogged right now. It's going to take 3 months or so for them to arrive.

No point.

Folks from SAU are stuck with enhanced security checks. So your processing time won’t be exactly 8 weeks.

Question:
Would it be wise to withdraw my current application only to reapply through SAU?

Taking into consideration that two of my friends applied and got it through SAU within five weeks... and my application has been ongoing through the States now for almost +3 months, and nothing has changed on the website since Feb/17/2022.. and that my job requires me to be there on the 2nd week of June.

Your thoughts are highly appreciated.

Thank you

Local MP? how do I do that? Eligibility review hasnt started yet
Google Local member of parliament of your zip code, usually they have a website that has a contact form. In the contact form specify the immigration issue.

However with work permit extension, you can continue with implied status. There is no hurry.

you can change address on IRCC. However there is no guarantee that it will be sent to the new address.
It's best that you get it before you move, but there is very limited things that you can do.

You can also set up mail forwarding with Canada Post.
