Quebec Immigration - Financial self-sufficiency

Last updated: 12 February 2025

The financial self-sufficiency factor is one of the ten criteria for which points are awarded under the Quebec immigration selection system.

One point is awarded under the Financial self-sufficiency factor of the Skilled Worker Selection Program (SWSP) (formerly the Quebec Skilled Worker Selection Program (QSWP).

To be considered for selection under the SWSP, applicants must submit a complete Financial Self-sufficiency contract, or Contrat d’autonomie financière Travailleurs, to the Quebec Ministry of Immigration.
