Hi, I'm going to apply for Canadian visitor visa soon...so I need your advice....
First, I'm a Malaysian holding a US student visa ("expires 19 May 2009"), BUT my Optional Training Period has expired in July 20, 2007. (I tried to apply for US work permit...but no news) So I have to leave US within the 90-day grace period.
My wife is a Canadian citizen, and we plan to move back to Canada by September 20, 2007.
She told me it's best to apply as "never married" for my visitor visa. If not I would be easily denied. Is that true?
Also, as I have to provide proof for my immigration status in US, will my student visa do? What documents should I use to proof the validity of the 90 days grace period? Or the 90-day grace period is not valid to prove my temporary immigrational status in US ?
thanks for reading!
