Spouse Sponsership help.

Ok so i sent out my spouse sponsership/pr application and it was recieved Sep 19,2017 (it took two days to arrive). My questions are:
1. How long does it usually take until i get an email from them?
2. How long until they ask me to get my medical done/and send my background check?

Because i still havent heard anything from anyone. I know its only been 4 days but still i would just like to now.

Also a side note (i am American and need no visa....but i applied by mail for a visa extension and it was recieved on Sep 19th as well but my visa stamp expires Nov 20 (in less then two months). had some questions regarding this as well:
1. How long till i hear from them for my visa extension?
2. If i dont hear anything from them before my visa stamp expires on nov 20...do i stay for three more months and wait for a response? or do i have to go back home? and if i go back home wont that ruin my inland spouse sponsership application?
3. What are the chances that my visa extension will be denied seeing that my visa stamp expires in less then two months?
