SA= Sponsor Approval. Is when the sponsor has been approved and they will forward the application to th vida office abroad that will process the applicant.
AOR 2= Acknowledgement of Receipt from Visa Office..is when the visa office abroad notifies you that they have received the application
Yes. It is normal to receive AOR1 before SA letter but it is not always a given. Likewise for the AOR2 which you still will likely receive from the Visa Office to which your file has been transferred.sara94_ca said:So is it normal that I received my sponsor approval letter with the transfer notice but i never received AOR1 OR AOR2?
It varies...in our case, AOR1 was Sept 2 and SA was Oct 16...total sponsorship time was 73 days, and not the stated typical 60days. So no, not necessarily 2 weeks. Sponsorship is supposed to have sped up nowadays, but not sure by how much.DeHdez15 said:I received the AOR1 and in the same email, they notified my they just started to process my sponsorship application... That was March 8, not a word after that People usually get approved to sponsor after 2 weeks. is that true?

To answer the original question, AOR2 would be received by the applicant and not the sponsor...unless same email address is filled in for both sponsor and applicant OR the sponsor was appointed as the representative. Make sure the applicant checks email, and also the SPAM or delete box.
There isn't a right or wrong answer here. Some people get SA very quickly. For others, it takes longer. They received our application the beginning of January and we didn't get SA until March. Try not to compare your timeline to anyone else. We're all different.People usually get approved to sponsor after 2 weeks. is that true?
