I'm updating my PR because I have legally changed my name.
On form IMM5444, question 5.1 is: "Have you travelled or lived outside of Canada in the past 5 years".
My answer to this question is yes, because I lived in the US in 2019 before coming to Canada.
Question 5.5 - Time Spent Outside Canada states "You must provide all absences from Canada during the past 5 years or since becoming a PR if less than 5 years ago". I haven't left Canada since becoming a PR in 2019, so I want to leave this area blank (or write not applicable), but the form will not validate unless I enter dates and other information here.
