Am an Iraqi citizen graduated two years ago with medical degree from India I was accepted in a Canadian college to study health care administration for 1 year , i have paid the full tuition fee along with a bank account in Canada with 10,000 CAD as living expense currently am in Iraq and will apply for visa soon.
but there is a catch that was recognised as refugee in India before i left and closed my file, i was registered before in order to get a sponsorship ( G5 ) and that was the reason but then they changed the rules and had no prospect to go to Canada as it take no less than 7 years and numbers are limited so i left and went back home .
what are the chances of getting a student visa ?? how does the previous status affects my application.
i will declare that in my application i was had the refugee card and the student visa in India so my status was a "student" not refugee but with the unhcr am a refugee i did not over stay ,i had a student visa and left when my studies was over
