Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

For normal passport renewal application, PV was done on 27th September but on passport seva website, the status updated to "PV Initiated" as well as "Application granted on pre-police verification basis" on 8th of October, what does this exactly mean? Does it mean that we need to contact police again or will it move to Print initiated soon?

Did u get the ppt?we are stuck with same status

I opted for pickup option so waiting for collection update. It’s so weird they taking so long.
Is there any way I can contact them ?

I treid to call as well and no response on query
but there is option to check query status with passport number and email,did you check that ?

WHen i am trying to track with BLS ARN its shows wrong application number

Hello everyone,

I’m a Permanent Resident currently preparing to submit my passport renewal application. While filling out the form, I noticed there are two address fields — “Passport Printable Address” and “Additional Address.”

I have a couple of questions regarding these fields:

1. I would like my Indian address to appear on the passport. Can I enter my Indian address under “Passport Printable Address” and use either my Canadian or Indian address for the “Additional Address” field?

2. Since my family and I are currently in Canada and police verification will be required, would it be acceptable to provide my uncle’s address in India for verification purposes?

I would really appreciate any guidance or clarification from those who have gone through a similar process.

There is opposite requirements as per jurisdiction.
