I will be applying under NOC: 2255 Technical occupations in geomatics and meteorology.

Good..which phase are you ? in terms of preparation ( Ielts,WES-ECA, PCC) let us discuss in details since our community is very small and very few people. have you contacted regulated body ? planning for particular province ?

I am attempting IELTS this month, and currently working in Canada, so my application will be filled under Canadian Experience Class, once I get selected from Express Entry Pool (Hopefully :-X).

I had my under-graduation in Geology from Pakistan, and then took diploma in GIS from Canada. And since I'm not doing pure Geology work, I don't have to go through the regulated bodies for licencing/certification.

Well, I am planning to give Ielts next month ,my ECA is ready. i have done Post graduation (Msc) with Geology and have more then 8 years of work experience internationally.

I am sure will you get good points since you have Canadian work experience. could you please let me know, which is the best province for Mineral exploration and mining activity happening most in Canada at present ?

I have done MS (by Research) in Environmental Engineering with B.Tech in Environmental Engineering. Can anybody tell me I should apply in this eligible occupation list or in Civil Engineers eligible occupation list of permanent residency.
