Hi all,

Please tell me if the following Employee Reference letter format is correct. Thank you!

Duties and responsibilities handled by Mr. Zakria Samuel are as follows:
1. Direct daily operations of registration, including supervision of staff and training staff on student information systems and processes.

3. Review, update and correct data as needed in student information system.

Looks good.

A few things I did differently:

1. Added the date of issue before "To Whom It May Concern"
2. Mentioned the join date until date of leaving.
3. Name of the supervisor, position of supervisor, company, location of company, signature and company stamp (at the bottom).
4. Don't forget to attach a business card of the supervisor to the letter. People forget that. It also must be on company letterhead.

If its coming from HR do you still need to attach the signatory's business card?

I have one reference letter coming directly from HR and I included the business card of the signatory. Alternatively you can provide the business card of the person you were reporting to.
