I don't think mailing passports (especially, Internationally) is legally allowed. I doubt courier companies would accept it as a package. That said, you may be able to get your citizenship certificate mailed out to you and apply for a passport through a Canadian Consulate in another country, but...

Update: Got a request for passport scans on Oct 2 despite having sent photocopies of all my passport pages containing stamps along with my application preemptively. :confused:

Thanks. Makes sense! It is difficult to know the order in which the Vancouver office is handling cases - they seem to be all over the place. :confused:

How much delays can one reasonably expect if changing address (province)? I'm still awaiting a test invite and so far, only the Background check is showing as "Completed". My new local office (where I will move to) seems to be processing these applications at a faster pace than the previous...

Curious about those who get their applications returned, do the docs just show up by mail or is an email notice sent out in advance?
