Again interesting part that GcKey is updated. So seems you dont really have an option but to wait for 6 weeks to pass and then call again to know the next steps.
They should atleast let you know if it was returned to them ( talking from my personal experience). Even I did not receive my card even after 3 weeks , I was told that it was returned to them and would be again sent to me within six weeks.
curious, How do they reply to a faxed SD ?
EDIT - I also see they have made processing time as base now, earlier it was 6 weeks after card is mailed out. Interesting.
yeah, it doesnt really take 6 weeks to reach after it has been mailed out, so most likely to have lost in transit if not returned to IRCC
But ofcourse, if OP wants to wait for 6 weeks, it is their choice

You cannot expedite the process. But this is bit confusing, you mentioned "I have international travel plans to India ". Are you already in Canada ? or somewhere else outside of India ?

You can link it to GCKey as mentioned here - https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/linking-pr-card-application-to-track-pr-card-after-landing-flagpole-landing-interview-is-complete.617040/
You need to link pr card to gckey, NOT pr portal.
Also, as I mentioned, this linking will help you track your card status, it doesnt mean you need to APPLY for pr card
Have you linked your pr card application to gckey ?
If not steps here - https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/linking-pr-card-application-to-track-pr-card-after-landing-flagpole-landing-interview-is-complete.617040/

there is option to create https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html alongwith sign in for already existing accounts

This will only work once your application is on system and process has started.
