My wifes profile showed a GU today too. Nothing exciting since there was no update. Hopefully its the OATH call since Test and BG is completed. Fingers crossed. I can remember this happening to my profile last year.

I was about to ask the same question. My wife did the exam abroad and since then the application has been stalled. No movement at all. This can be due to the test being taken outside of Canada. In my case I did the exam and within a matter of three months I was scheduled to Oath and was granted...

any idea why its taking unbelivable so long to get PRTD. Usually the promise is between 2 WEEKS to 4 WEEKS. I have crossed 4 weeks and moving into FIFTH.

Just dropped by at VFS dubai yesterday to provide them New photos as the Canadian embassy has rejected our previous photos. Hopefully we might receive an update next week, god willing.

Hi Got status approved on 28th Sept and as of now nothing. When did u submit your passport to ADVO? I can wait max for another 8 working days that is end of next week in shaa Allah and will request my passport temporarily. This is taking crazy amount of time... but read from previous posts...

Where is the embassy Is it in Abu Dhabi? I am in Dubai and cannot travel so far, just to understand the status. Dropped an email to abdbi-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca so expecting them to respond.

How can we go to the embassy. Do they entertain public visiting them! I know VFS will not assist us rather than saying that it takes 30 working days. Is your account approved?
