Ask London office to send the passport to a local address. then find somebody who travel from London to India, write an Authorization letter for the person to carry your passport .. Nothing to worry

Yes Mayank..but i live in canada for the last 3 years..I was on work permit...border is just 5 KM from my home..so i drew there and completed the procedure ..it took only 10 minutes...staffs were very friendly..never asked any question...

I completed my landing procedure successfuly last week and now have the temp PR reciept stapled in the passport...great feelings... My time Line is CIO -December 2010 PER - March 2011 IN Process - June 2011 Medical/Passport - July 2011 Decision Made -October 2011 Landed - December 2011

I send on august first week and just got the passport back..heard that unnecessary inquiry email on the file will delay the process..just wait for the address disappear and start counting from there...all the best..( I know it's frustrating , i was not able to sleep thinking about it)

It was just 10 days before the decision made..it took more than two months for them to update.. I am living in Canada and i did my medical from Toronto ,DMP send to local office here.sometime the medical received lines comes with decision made. MY advice is that don't send any unnecessary email...
