I just went to the consulate and they put a note on my application which I had to go and submit at BLS. Got my PCC within 2 weeks. Tip: You can send an email to the consulate after you submit your application at BLS with the reference no. requesting faster processing(If needed).

I had the same status. Got a text message on Friday evening saying my passport has been dispatched. Received it yesterday noon.

A lot of people who dint get the mail received their visas and some got the mail after receiving the passports. Wishing you guys good luck w/the visas.

Have you tried sites like Kijiji? Classified's mainly. There are a few ads on it which you might want to check out by searching with your college name n all. Hope that helps.

Choose a course that you are actually interested in and not any random one just for the sake of admission or job. Head to the gbc website and go through the set of programs they are offering. Also, go through different courses they are offering in each program and if it matches your interest and...

I transferred the funds on 10th July and got my GIC on 19th. Sorry, I dint get your question? I've mentioned my name and my Scotia a/c no. in the form the bank gives (SBI in my case) I have no idea about other banks. Sorry!

It usually takes 8-10 working days for Scotiabank to issue the GIC after the funds have been transferred. Well, that's what happened in my case.

Applied for my GIC a/c details on June 19th and received the info on July 5th. There was a long weekend + holiday on July 1st (Canada day) in between. PS. I did not send them any email to know the status during that period.
