No updates. Is this normal?

Hi, I applied in Dec. On the francophone. My file status is "En attente de traitement" since January and no updates. I called the MiFi yesterday and they told me that the decision will not take more than 6 months so by june everything must be done. But I don't know if they are honest or no.

I submitted my application since the mid of December on the francophone program. But I started to get worried from your experience.

Hi, When did you submit your application? I don't think there is a difference because a friend of mine got it in 5 months while he was in the francophone one.
