Right now very tight as post-ack processing has delayed to 4 weeks from 3. But it may pickup back to 3 weeks (21 days) in which case you could just make it.

You got the stock reply meant for fresh OCI applications. You can show up at next openhouse (Wednesday's afternoon) and try to push for a quicker processing as its a PIO to OCI conversion. That said, the least painful process may be to just make an evisa and let the OCI process play out on its own.

We don't have any recent data on this so hard to say. Last time I did this was in 2019 (spousal pio to oci) and it took only three days after reaching the consulate. There is no security clearance waiting period for this, but the long time it takes these days for oci applications to get...

As per the status above, both OCIs were delivered to BLS from the consulate. Normally it should have arrived by courier in 2-3 business days (latest by Nov 13th), so obviously something has gone wrong at BLS' end.. You have to contact them to find out why its not getting mailed out. I think BLS...

I think it will be in BLS office only on Tuesday --- one day after the "Counter Delivery" update on BLS site. Normally it will get mailed out that same day (i.e., Tuesday). If you want to pickup you will have to tell them by Monday to hold it for collection and then try pickup on Tuesday.

If Toronto, expect Ack around Dec 10, and OCI in hand early in January.

If the process was done late in the day the rest of the steps can spill over to the next day. They were falling behind and are catching up as today they processed both 7th and 8th Acks, so likely to be a lot more applications than usual. Wait for tomorrow.
