Hi guys, Anyone from October received the eCOPR yet? I got the AIP/SA letter in December 18th and after that, nothing moved at all. I think I saw Nov applicants getting their eCOPR and I'm starting to get a little worried. Background still in progress.

Hi there, may I ask how's the tracker status of SA? Mine is a bit weird, it does show eligibility completed when you open "application history" but on the main page it shows "in progress".

Hi guys, happy new year! What are your thoughts on the SIN number? Is it worth it to apply as temporary resident or should I wait until PR? I read that the number changes once your become a permanent resident

Yes! It does seem so. I'm not sure if they're really just skimming over it to finish as much as possible before the year ends

Hi, so is the AIP you got saying this?: It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence as a member of the spouse or common-law partner in Canada class. Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for...

Yes, the earlier people can enter the workforce the better. Yes, based in Ontario. I thought it was a bit unnecessary to have a medical request for a visitor visa extension but they said my extension was conditional to the medical exam, so I ended up doing it. Gladly, they're considering it...

Yes, it was a little over a month. I applied as soon as I got the AOR and I have the medical done already (it was requested for the visa extension). Before approval, I got one status update to say that the biometrics were valid.

Thank you for the information @Master5678. Here's the link I based my comment on https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/temporary-residents/visitors/implied-status-extending-stay.html. In this case @Grey grey...

If you received the AOR, that means your PR application is being processed, which means that you have maintained status (it was formerly known as implied status). Essentially, since your PR is being processed, even if your temporary visa expires, you have kept your legal status in Canada until...
