Yes but it was PR sponsorship in my situation. It took a total of 37 days.

Visit visa should take 2-3 weeks

I got the message at 11 in the morning UAE time

For PR after Eid it seems that the processing time is 32 days

Yes I did Alhamdulillah. By the looks of it the processing time for PR is 37 days since the date of the passports being received at the IRCC office. But this is only for applications within the UAE.

You can talk to the VFS agents and explain your situation to them so maybe they can expedite your application. But I don't believe that it's legal in the UAE for a company to hold your passport.

Bu But at the same time it can happen, it's just that if your visa is a PR visa I highly doubt it takes only one day. I have been waiting for 36 days now.

It could be the second but for the first question it depends on what type of visa.
